By now our guide must have heard us and learnt that we did not 'handle' local cuisine that well. Upon returning to Zhongdian Old Town - Mr Wang Da asked us if we would like to lunch at an Indian Restaurant. Of course we immediately agreed to his offer.....
the Indian Curry House was run by a Nepalese/Tibetanthere was too much 'kunyit' all the curries but was more
palatable to us than the Yunnan cuisines we had tried thus far..
chicken curry...
biryani rice...
paratha and masala chai.....
