From the Osaka Castle we walked down to the jetty where the Osaka AquaBoat River Cruise could be taken. The 210 pm cruise was sold out, so we booked to go on the 310 pm cruise. With time in our hands, we walked into a French-Italian Restaurant near the jetty and took our lunch there.The aquaboats were similar to the ones that run on the Siene River in Paris. We did the right thing in booking the covered boat as it rained intermittently during the cruise.
The banks of the rivers were also full of sakuras in full bloom.
The 1-hour cruise cost 1880 yen each (about RM60) each
