
After a stormy and wet Tuesday brought on by the mini-typhoon, Wednesday was a bright and sunny day but still with a fairly low temperature. The streets bore the the evidence of the damage caused by the storm. It was reported that the storm was at its worst in the Kansai ( Osaka) region where four fatalities were reported. In Tokyo, umbrellas were strewn on the streets and bicycles were blown down at their parking areas.
