It would be nice to actually have dinner at one of the many cafes and restaurants in Hoi An. many Vietnamese and European (especially French) restaurants were available in Hoi An. But we were short of time and decided to make use of the full 2 hours available to us to just walkabout the town. Upon returning to Danang we wlaked to the Apsara Restaurant just a short walk away behind our hotel for dinner. This restaurant served Vietnamese and Thai dishes as well as seafood.
the waiter flambed the clams at our table
prawn and vegetable Vietnamese popiah
clams sauteed in lime, lemon grass, basil
steamed tiger prawns with a sweet and mildly spicy dip
glass noodles ( so-un) fried with seafood
