Pakdokter had a surprise visitor at the office today. Abu Hassan Mat Som was a classmate of pakdokter in primary school in Petaling Jaya in 1962 and 1963. We have lost contact since then and according to Abu Hassan, (who is now a retiree), with the help of his computer-savvy youngest and still school-going daughter, they managed to locate pakdokter from the facebook!
This internet is really a fantastic tool.....
It was a pleasant reunion indeed for the two of us. Abu Hassan stayed on in PJ completing his Malay medium secondary education "menumpang" at the Sultan Abdul Samad (English Medium ) Secondary School in PJ for 3 years until a proper Malay medium secondary school was built at the Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Petaling at the Old Klang Road.

For pakdokter, this is the second reunion with a classmate from the primary school days this year. A few weeks ago at pakdokter's nephew's wedding, pakdokter met up with another classmate, Rubiah Latif, who happened to be one of the guests at the wedding reception.
