After Rodos, it was a long non-stop journey over two nights before the cruise made its last stop at the beautiful old city of Dubrovnik in the Republic of Croatia. This breakaway province of the once Republic of Yugoslavia, in its heydays was a rival to the powerful and prosperous city of Venice.
The old city was protected by a few kilometres of stone wall that started from the port. Pakdokter's group walked the whole length of the wall surrounding the city, taking in the beautiful scenery as we hiked along.
