Apart from the restaurants and pubs - most of the other shops along Hereen and Jonker Streets were closed on Thursday night. We took a stroll along these streets and walked towards the Melaka River where we stopped for drinks in front of the river over-looking the newly opened Casa del Rio Hotel.
