To the Mountains

the train ran at regular interval all day long

As reported earlier, the Hakone Pass allowed us to travel on the Hakone Express Romance Car, all the local Hakone buses, trains, cruises and even the cable car. After breakfast at the Ryokan, we headed to the Hakone train station to board the regular local train that took us to the town where we would have to change to a funicular train that took us to a higher altitude before finally taking the cable car.
