The Staroba Golf Club AGM was held at the Impian Kajang Golf Resort. SGC President, Datuk Dr Awang Adek took time off from his first grandchild's ' aqeqah' to conduct this meeting and left half-way to go back home to his family's special occasion.
The Annual Report and Financial Statement were passed by the house with little discussion. There was no eelction for office-bearers as the current team has yet to complete its 2-year term.
Of special concern was the diminishing balance in the club's account as the sponsorships for major events last year were poor. A suggestion was also made for the club to look into organising 'cheaper' local tours as not everyone could afford the cost and time for 'overseas golf tours'.
