Pakdokter was extremely exhausted after the game on Wednesday that, with a group of the other golfers, pakdokter decided to give pakdokter's tired body a treatment of Chinese massage at the hotel's spa and health club. The gentle touch of the delicate fingers of the Chinese girl put pakdokter to 2 hours of good sleep. Coming down to the hotel lobby after that pakdokter joined a few golfers from the Royal Bangkok at the lounge who were taking turns to sing with the resident Filipino band. In not a long time pakdokter had had 4 or 5 mugs of Tsingtao and later helped the Thai friends to finish their bottle of Maccallan........
Pakdokter could not remember how pakdokter managed to get up for breakfast!
Peter Chan ( Bangkok), Peter Yap (Singapore),
pakdokter (Royal Selangor) and Danny Chan ( Hong Kong)...
does the 'headache show on pakdokter's face?...'
The second day game was played at the A Nine of the Open Course and the C Nine of the Master Course. These 2 Nines are relatively shorter and more kind and forgiving. Unfortunately pakdokter sufferred a severe 'hangover' from the 'indulgence' the night before. Despite gallons of water and cups and cups of coffee, pakdokter sufferred throbbing headache and spun every time pakdokter bent down to place the ball at the tee.......
But to pakdokter's surprise, pakdokter came home with 29 points!
So, Mr Quah's advice the day before must be somewhat correct.........
Pakdokter's other buddies from RSGC came home with scores of below 20! except for Mr Liam Brandy who brought home 23 points. He must have had a few shots of Cognac before the game, too......
