We arrived into Killarney at around 6 pm. The CastleRosse Golf and Country Club is very much like a time-share resort with rooms and villas suitable for a family holiday. It has a 9-hole golf course on-site, an indoor swimming pool and tennis courts. The room was spacious and came with a baby cot!
As the hotel was running full-house - we had to choose our dinner time which was served in two seatings. As we were tired from a rather long day - we decided to opt for the earlier seating. Pakdokter and Dean O'Malley had planned to play at the Killarney Golf and Fishing Club which hosted the Irish Open 2011 the weekend before. So we surfed the site online and made a booking for Thursday monring. The booking was confirmed almost immediately!
