Now as pakdokter post this blog and did a little reading on the 'Ring of Kerry' - pakdokter realised that we should have taken the off road to Port Magee way before Waterville but just after Cahirciveen. The Valentia Island had some lovely rock formation great for photo-shoots plus the animal sanctuary (birds) that have made their home there.
Anyhow, pakdokter turned right off the motorway and discovered an equally scenic stretch with lovely undulating farms overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
