We hopped back on to the next bus just outside the Kilmainham Royal Hospital where the Irish MOMA ( Museum of Modern Art) was located. The bus drove along the southern bank of the Liffey River, past the Dublin Railway Station and some areas of newer development which had become somewhat 'deserted' since the financial meltdown that brought Ireland down on its knees. Crossing the Liffey River, the bus drove through the Phoenix Park - probably the biggest public park in Dublin. This is where many sporting activities could be carried out and a huge cross was built to commemorate the address by the Pope to a massive worshippers when he visited Ireland some years ago. The Phoenix Park is also where the Presidential Residence is located.
