Rastam introduced this restaurant to us two years ago. Although the food was nothing much to shout about, the drama of its setting and its food presentation was worth the experience. As Rastam had started working on Tuesday and would finish work only at midnight, only the three of us made it for dinner which was prebooked on-line the day before.
Located at one quiet corner of the Akasaka Tokyu Plaza, we were welcomed at the reception by a ninja who then guided us along dark corridors and over trap-doors before we finally reached our dining cubicle.
the entrance into the restaurant..
the menu came in this long scroll....
Raena's starter dish came in a sake box...
the Ninja waitress's finger....
on a grape fruit with a ninja sword stabbed into it...
smoke from the grape fruit....
fish and cheese sushi....
