The chef-de-mission, in a new strategy, broke up pakdokter's usual partnership with pakTgAzman and introduced pakdokter's batchmate in STAR, pakMihdzor Hilal to make up the Staroba pair to match Koba's pair of pakMesha and pakDatukZainuddin. Koba had to also split pakMesha/pakErik partnership so that pakErik could continue to play against pakTgAzman in the other pair. PakMesha and pakErik had made an unwritten agreement that we would be playing against pakdokter and pakTgAzman in all the games between the two teams and this agreement will stay effective indefinitely.

pakdokter, pakMesha and pakDatukZainuddin played to a handicap of 30 whereas pakMihdzor played to his handicap of 25. pakMihdzor was 'psychologically' handicapped for being the anchor of the flight and his game did not reflect his true capability. Luckily for pakdokter - everything came out right and saved the day for pakdokter's pair. Pakdokter's 3 pars in the 1st Nine helped our pair to lead by 3-up into the 2nd Nine. Another 4 pars in the 2nd Nine ensured that Staroba got 1 point from pakdokter's pair. Pakdokter played a net score of 65 (-7) to the handicap of 30.In our usual hole-for-hole betting, pakdokter came home with a million rupiah surplus from pakMesha and pakDatukZainuddin. pakMihdzor was probably the main 'financier' as he did not play to match the two golfers from Koba......
