A Degustation Menu at the Mosaic

As participants of the "Latin Rythmn' event - the restaurant offered a discount to us for dinner there that night. Chef Chris Salans is Ubud's top French chef - so pakdokter and partner decided not to give this chance a miss. There was a choice of 3 degustation menu with accompanying wines ( optional) to go with each dish. The two of us selected 2 different menus for a better and wider exposure of chef Chris Salans offerings.....

it's hard to remember now what some of the dishes were...
accompanying the earlier ones were 'whites' from Malborough in NZ...
pan-fried salmon....



pakdokter's dish of foiea gras and a wagyu beef steak...
and this dish was accompanied with a glass of year 2007 Grand Cru
Chateau Laland.....
