Vero offered to take the group for dinner at a restaurant in Fontan Market. Walking back to the market we cane across more statues that are put up to decorate this beautiful city.
The restaurant that Vero took us to was located on the upper floor of the market. The sign and the entrance is not so obvious - so unless you know it you would most unlikely find this restaurant. But the food was great. Typical Asturian dishes - served in large portions in big bowls or plates for you to eat as much as you can. And the prices are reasonable and value for money.
pea-soup with seafood
another variety of pea soup with meat
plateful of grilled fish
pork chop?
