We stayed at the Cape Finisterre for about an hour or so appreciating the scenery. However the cold weather ( temperature of 10 degrees celcius) with blistering strong winds made it quite unbearable after a while.
Our next stop was the little port town of Fisterra - a few miles down from Cape Finisterre. It is a fishing port with many little cafes fronting the beach. We stopped for coffee to warm ourselves up.
The area where Fisterra is locate is known as the Costa da Morte ( Coast of Death) named as such because of the number of shipwrecks in the area due to the rough seas.
