The tour of Segesta, Trappani and Erice was not only demanding on our stamina but also made us very very hungry. Lucky for us, Erice had so many great restaurants to choose from and we depended on our guide's recommendation which turned out to be a great decison.
Sicily is an island and we decided that we were going to feast on sea-food.....

After lunch we were invited to a pastry shop next door for a free-tasting of the local pastries and cookies. It was so nice that some of us could not resist buying some of the nougats etc...
