A Typical Sicilian Cusine...

By the time we settled down to our comfortable room at the hotel, it was time for dinner. Just by a corner behind pakdokter's hotel was a small family run osteria/trattoria/restaurant. We decided to give it a try and came home very satisfied....

Sicily, being an island, the largest island in Italy as well as in the whole of the Mediterranean, is a haven for sea-food. And their prices were surprisingly decent. Most main plates were arounf 8 to 10 Euros. In comparison, similar main dishes would have cost at least 20 GBP in Edinburgh....
