There were 3 games being played concurrently in this tour. The first game is the RTC/Fedex Games. 19 RSGC Buayas who had played the minimum 12 games in the preceeding months at RSGC had been ranked according to their 12 best nett scores and the top 5 players had been awarded their cash prizes before they made the trip here. In Chiangmai the 19 players had been ranked accordingly and given reset points with the top being zero, the 2nd ranked -45 and so on - very much in how the PGA Fedex games were being played. Winners in the Chiangmai Games were accorded points ( 1st place 250 points, 2nd place 150 points and so on - thus making it possible for someone ranked low in the original RTC list to win the Fedex if he were to play well over these 3 days)
The 2nd game is an individual matchplay that involved all the 26 who came to Chiangmai. Cash prizes were awarded to the best gross score and to 8 of the top nett scores.
The 3rd game was a Ryders Cup style match between Team Estia vs Team Mercure. ( 13 players each) For Days 1 and 2 the teams played 7 matches - 6 matches in a 4-ball-better-ball matchplay event and a 7th individual matchplay event. On Day 3 the teams played 13 individual matchplays.
