As reported earlier in the Ryders Cup match Team Estia led by 5-2 against Team Mercure on Day 1.
Apart from playing for Fedex points and the daily top prizes, we also had a ' tote bet' - betting on who will be the winner of the best nett score for the day. Everyone could put as many bets on as many players they wish - each bet cost THB100 and if there were more than one person with the correct bet the total pool would be divided equally to the winners. The 'tote bet ' was organised by Brother Izmir who had come prepared with print-out of betting forms for everybody.

and he generously used his winnings to pay for dinner which
came to about THB6000 that night which still left
him with some money for his night entertainment!
