Ryugasaki Golf Club, Tokyo

On Day 2 in Tokyo, our itinerary was a round of golf at Ryugasaki GC north-west of Tokyo about 1 hour by road. Ryugasaki GC is one of the golf clubs that recently had signed a reciprocal affiliation with RSGC and for all of us this is the first time that we are playing here.

We were welcomed by the committee members of the club and after a light refreshment and a group photography we teed off for the 1st Nine of the friendly game. This is a lovely golf course and would certainly be included in future trips to Tokyo.

the GM of Ryugasaki, Shahrin and pakdokter
our hosts were senior golfers,
one a retired journalist who covered Afghanistan and now owns a restaurant
and the other is an industrialist ( unfortunately pakdokter has lost their name cards
and has forgotten their names)

some parts feel like we were walking in the woods
