Maejo Golf Course is a relatively flat course. Some of us chose to walk the course instead of riding on a buggy. All of us from RSGC are used to walk the golf course.
Although the golf course design is interesting and pretty, the greens were a tad slow and not consistent. The caddies were also not that good with helping us with the putt lines.Despite of this we all enjoyed the outing.
The surprise outcome was that Team Estia captained by pakdokter won 5 of the games against 2 won by Team Mercure led by Datuk Rozhan. Pakdokter partnered pakRais and contributed 1 of the winning points.
After the match, the two Captains worked out on the pairs playing for their respective teams after which both Captains met and took turns to offer a pair to be matched by the a pair offered by the other Captain.

Kun Surapat then ferried the group to a local restaurant at a nearby kampong. The spread of local dishes were delicious. Fried fish, kampong fried chicken, mussamam beef ( voted by CNN the No 1 dish in the world), deep-fried beef, many fresh ulams with several sambals, and tom yam soup. Great dinner that only a local 'foodie' would know where to go to.
We were indeed fortunate to know Kun Surapat and to have him as our ground handling agent for our group.
