Pakdokter and partner went to see a local production, "Cuci, the Musical" last night at the Istana Budaya, Kuala Lumpur. Playing to an almost full house, pakdokter must admit that pakdokter was not disappointed.
The story was simple with slap-stick comedy and fun with a touch of romance thrown in. And a little moral was also thrown in about the value of 'integrity' and 'brotherly' relationships.
The 'Musical' in itself was attractive by virtue of the strong cast made of established actors and singers, and they did not disappoint. However it could have come out better if the sound engineering was better 'tuned' for at times the band was too loud thus drowning the performers voices. At other times their microphones (pulak) were a tad too loud as to make their lines or lyrics unclear.
