We took a taxi from Hotel Batavia to Kemayoran at around 5 pm. Although it was a relatively short distance, it took about 45 minutes through the after office traffic to reach the venue. The crowd at the festival had not built up yet, so it was quite a breeze to go in. Ravi had identified which were the main groups to go to and our first selection was the concert by Acoustic Alchemy - a jazz outfit pakdokter assumed came from Britain as most of their members were British.
