Melaka (6) : Herren Street by Day

Breakfast at the Courtyard Hotel was a great buffet with roti chanai, nasi lemak and even mee rebus on offer apart from the usual toasts and eggs. A local brew of coffee was also served. After the hearty breakfast we walked down Hereen Street to the jetty by the Melaka River for the Melaka River cruise. Pakdokter had done this cruise some 5 or 6 years ago and the rehabilitation of the river then was still in progress. It would be interesting how it looks like now that the project has been completed.
this cafe was right next door to our hotel....

the Jonker Bird House....

Jonker Street - 2nd Class Gentlemen Street..
