The Kedaton Golf and Country Club was located at the district of Tangerang in west Jakarta. Despite having gone to Jakarta for so many times over the years neither pakdokter nor the groups pakdokter usually travelled with had played at this course. So we were looking forward to tackle this course.
This relatively out of town golf course was not so busy even during the weekends. Perhaps it was for this reason that KOBA had chosen this course to be played on the final 2 days of the 4th Edidtion.
The clubhouse had a distinct Javanese architecture in its design and decor. The course looked generally flat - walkable like the Cengkareng Course - but with much narrower fairways with many parallel waterways on one or either sides - reminiscent of some of the fairways at the Indah Kapuk Golf Course. We were told that it would require consistently straight drives to play well in this course. Well, is it also not rue for any course....?
