The Staroba Eidul-fitri Gathering was held at the Community Hall at the Damansara Heights, hosted by the Staroba President, Datuk Hamzah Zainuddin.
Pakdokter came to know about this gathering at the SGC Monthly Medal that same afternoon, and not having brought along a more appropriate attire, pakdokter went to the gathering in pakdokter's golfing shorts!
It was nice to be able to catch up with a few of pakdokter's batch-mates in school. There were at least 5 of us there, Anoiar Jalil, Mihdzor Hilal, Jailani Abdullah, Justice Abu Samah Nordin and your goodself. In additon there were also a few of the most senior of the school's alumni, amongst others were Datuk Dr Samad Alias, Yang Arif (retired) Hj Yusof Ahmad and Datuk Tajri Abu Yamin.
