A Quick Lunch at Hotel Les Infantes

Our stay in Santillana del Mer was a free and easy day with no guided tour. Having checked in to our rooms we were encouraged to have lunch first before setting out to explore the village. It was such a lovely sunny day and what better way than to have lunch alfresco in the front garden of the hotel. We were recommended the menu of the day and I chose to sample their goat cheese salad for starters and their deep-fried Cantabrian anchovies which was in season. And I was not disappointed.
