After the tour of the Azpeitia Train Museum, we were given about an hour to walk the streets in the village of Azpeitia and take our lunch at one of the few tapas bars in the village. Azpeitia is a small village with just 2 streets and a cathedral. We found a modern bright tapas bar and decided to eat there as it was not busy. But within half-an-hour later, more villagers walked in and filled up the bar. We had the first choice of the selection of fresh tapas displayed on the bar accompanied by a lovely bottle of a Rioja.
