We must have walked for 7 hours on Friday afternoon, touring the Guggenheim then the banks of the Nevion River back to the hotel. After some refreshements at our hotel's tapas bar we went back to the room and crashed into sleep. We woke up to a bright sunny morning and helped ourselves to a hearty breakfast at the hotel. Loved the fresh fruits, the grilled mushrooms and peppers, Spanish tortillas and a great selection of breads.
Walking out of the hotel we found that the banks of the Nervion was busy with a hive of sporting activities taken part by school-children and youths. There were basketball competitions, boat races, pelutas, timber-sawing, rock-climbing, aerobics to the tunes of zumbas and sambas.
A book exhibition was also held at one of the squares.
