The Dancing Building and the Vltava River

The Dancing Tower is highlighted on the tourist map of Prague as one of the sites to be visited in the New Town area. It is one of the few 'modern' buildings to be seen in the "new town area". It is interesting in that viewed from one angle it looked like it is the figure of a couple dancing - thus giving it its name of the 'Dancing Tower'. It is located by the banks of the Vltava River, at one of the several bridges spanning the river.
From the bridge, one gets another preety vista of the Prague Castle. Boats anchored along the banks of the Vltava River operate as restaurants and cafes.
