The New Town Hall and the Charles Park

Thursday was another free and easy day for us until the 'Swan Lake' ballet which we had booked for the night. We decided to explore the 'new town' of Prague which we have not covered during the week. Walking from the Wenceslas Square towards the New Town Hall, the buildings along the streets were not different in style and designs from those in the Old Town district. Prague is definitely a photographer's delight.
Along one of the streets pakdokter's partner found a boutique of a local designer 'Adelaida'. She used the techniques of 'batik' using bright and colourful modern Czech motifs on the blouses, skirts, jeans, pants, hats, caps, gloves, scarfs etc etc. We spent quite some time shopping to pakdokter's partner's delight.
Leaving the 'booty' at the shop for collection later, we proceeded to the New Town Hall and the Charles Park in front of it.
