Hakodate by Night (11)....

Our taxi driver was waiting for us as we got out of the cable car at the foot of the Hakodate Mountain. And he offered to drive us around to show the tourist highlights of the city which we agreed to a reasonable taxi fare. He took us to the historical district of Hakodate ( the Motomachi and Suehiro districts) where the interesting old buildings were located. We spent about one hour around the area taking night shots of these buildings. Only the very cold weather prevented us from staying out too much longer. We decided that the day after we would come again to this area to view them during the day.

to the left was the Orthodox Russian Church..
and to the right a modern Christian Church...
