One Last Round of Reflexology at BaoLilai International Hotel..

Friday, 17th September 2010

We had lunch at the clubhouse which offerred Phad Thai ( Thai seafood fried noodle), Kai-Fan ( Chinese Chicken Rice) and many other dishes familiar throughout Asia and South East Asia. We had a lot of time to kill and by 4 pm, at the suggestion of out driver-cum-guide, we decided to go for a last round of 'reflexology' treatment at the BaoLiLai International Hotel located not too far from the Shenzen Airport.
It was a really pleasant surprise. The Massage/Spa Center was really posh and upmarket and very professionally organised. And it was dirt cheap too! It only cost 63 RMB for a 70 minute treatment. While our feet were soaked in a tub of hot herbal tea, we were given a good neck, shoulder and back streatching and massage before the 'foot reflexology' treatment was applied. The foot massage involved a good acupressure of the sole and an application of '?bottle suction' very much like the Malay 'tekap' treatment carried out at home.
The girls who did the treatment were also nice and friendly and despite limited language skill we all managed to have a nice friendly time with them.....

Just look at the pictures below....

see how happy Micheal was....

neck and shoulder massage while
the feet were soaked in herbal tea..
Peter wanted to take off his pants....

Chang's back was stretched and massaged
with the little girl's knees....
some acrobatic work it was...
Micheal was snoring away....

heated suction glass on the sole...

tapping with these drum sticks
before the end of the treatment...
