A short taxi ride from the train station took us to our hotel at Santillana del Mar, the Hotel Los Infantes. It was an 18th century palace which is now a 3-star hotel with a beautiful facade and fantastic interior decorated with antique furnitures. Walking through the reception up the stairs along narrow corridors to our room felt like walking in a museum with a collection of antique clocks, furnitures, carpets and paintings. I could not stop taking pictures of every corner of this pretty hotel.
