Breakfast at the Tsukiji Market

Our hotel at the Ginza district made it easy to go to the famous Tsukiji Fish Market of Tokyo. It was actually within walking distance but being typically Malaysian the few of us decided to take a taxi to the place.

We found a small counter where we helped ourselves to a breakfast of fresh sashimis on top of a bowl of rice.

We then explored the shops near the market. The fish auction section of the market is no longer freely accessible to the public. You will have to book and purchase an entry ticket in advance if you wish to observe the auction
