Kun Surapat had included a complimentary dinner for the group when we worked out the ground arrangements for this trip. We were taken to a cultural centre on a sprawling ground in the outskirts of Chiangmai. Musicians and pretty girls in Thai costumes welcomed us upon arrival. The dinner was again a set of local dishes but obviously catered for mass tourist crowd. There were girls demonstrating fruit carvings, girls in indigenous costumes happy to be photographed with us.
