Another round of seafood dinner.........

At night, the Christmas lights decorating the hotel lobby and the streets were constant reminders of the holiday season that we were in. For the many 'farangs' escaping the severe winter ( especially this year) they probabbly did not miss the Christmas 'mood' at all....
Hilton has an International Coffee House/ Restaurant, an Italian Restaurant and a Chinese Restaurant as well. Along the little lanes, apart from Italian and French restaurants, there were definitely a strong presence of Swedish and Norwegian outlets. The environs of Hua Hin is a destination of choice for these descendents of the Vikings, while the British and the Russians have chosen Pattaya as their colony. Apparently many of the British settlers in Pattaya had 'shady' backgrounds and had escaped to Pattaya from their authorities. And now the Russians have followed suit...
Pakdokter and partner could not help but decided to stick to Thai seafood.....

We chose an establishment recently reviewed in a Thai food magazine. And we were not disappointed with the 'Katseri Seafood'.......

this deep and crispy fried whole fish
came with a young mango salad dips...

a plate of chili fried mussels....
a plate of deepfried prawns with garlic...
and a plate of fried 'mimosa' shoots....
all for just 1000 bahts.....
and to take out the 'pedas....
a plate of mango sticky rice to finish....
