Day 3 : Damai Indah Bumi Serpong (1)

Pakdokter had only played at the Damai Indah Bumi Serpong Course once before and was looking forward to play there again. We were lucky to get a booked tee-off time for the Saturday morning as this course is normally very popular and crowded especially on weekends. The golf fees are also a lot more. It cost each of us 1.5 million rupiah (RM530) for the game.

PakRaisMansor had left for home on Friday night as he was summoned by his sister, "Rosmah Mansor" for a meeting on Saturday morning. And pakKhairul also had to go home Saturday morning to settle some domestic matters - so the group was left to two flights of 3 each.

And the golf course was indeed 'busy' - so many Japanese and Korean golfers who played slow ( some looked like pre-beginners!) and most of them walked the course instead of using the buggy.....

We had to wait almost 40 minutes after the booked time before we could tee off.

Redza got a par on hole 10....

at this par-3 11th...he put it 7 feet from the pin

earning a round of applause from the Japanese guys waiting for us

Redza went on to 'birdie' this and par the next one...

"Rain" did equally well but had a more difficult downhill put

but managed a par...

but he had a 'birdie' on the 10th....

so the rub and knock worked.....

this is definetely, to pakdokter, the best

of the 3 courses we played in this trip....

the only downside was the slow play due to the big crowd

we took nearly 5.5 hours to finish..
