Pakdokter was attracted to this session to listen to Khalid al-Khamissi - the Egyptian award-winning author whose book "Taxi" pakdokter had read. This book has also been translated into Bahasa Melayu by Zaid Ibrahim Publications. The writers in this symposium discussed how they went about getting the ideas and materials for their books.
