Roadside Coffee in Danang

The main road running by the side of the Han River where our hotel was located also had many coffee shops serving the popular Vietnamese drip coffee. As we had some time to kill before dinner, pakdokter and partner ventured out to explore the streets near the hotel and later tried out the Vietnamese coffee. The weather in Danang was extremely hot - around 42 degrees celcius. So a cold iced coffee was in order. Coffee was served together with a cup of tea. As pakdokter was quite thirsty, pakdokter also ordered a fresh young coconut. Drinks at these road-side stalls were quite cheap - the 2 coffees, one coconut and 5 bottles of mineral water came to less than 100,000 Vienamese Dong ( about RM15).
