Day 6: From Taksim to SultanAhmet to visit the Topkapi

We did not manage to tour the Topkapi Museum on Tuesday when we were still staying at the Armagrandi Spina Hotel in the SultanAhmet district as the palace was closed on Tuesdays. So we decided to make our way back to the SultanAhmet. By now we have become familiar with the public transport system of Istanbul. From Taksim Square, we took the funicular train to Kabatas and from Kabatas on the Bhosphorus coastline we hopped on the tram which took us to Gulhane which was a short walk away from the Topkapi Palace.

and from there a short ealk to the Topkapi
