Pictures were not allowed in the exhibiton hall where collections dating to the days of the "Prophets' were put up. The most popular exhibit was that of the beard of Prophet Muhammad p.b.u.h. There were many other exhibits attributed to some of the earlier prophets.
The area in front of the palace is also a garden - presumably to balance the Gulhane Park located at the back of the palace. A group of students were quite happy to have their pictures taken as they walked in line with their teachers at the head of their queue.
these school kids were curious to find out where pakdokter came from...
