Ring of Kerry (1)

Thursday, 4th August 2011
The Irish, English and Scottish weather share the same characteristic - they are quite unpredictable. Dean O'Malley's I-phone told us Thursday was a sunny and clear day and that made us decide to do the whole-day driving tour of the "Ring of Kerry". Unfortunately when we set out that morning, the sky was dark and heavy and we expected a cold and gloomy outing.
The 'Ring of Kerry' is one of the must-do tour if one were to holiday in Ireland. The countryside and the cliffs were supposed to be picturesque and many historical sites and natural parks good for trekking.
We set out for a leisurely drive and hoped to catch the scenery as we wnet along.
We drove in the recommended anti-clockwise direction - turning left as we exited our hotel towards Killorgin. Below were some of the scenic shots along the way.
