Tokyo Day 2 : Lunch @ Kyo Chiba Golf Course

We played a fairly fast game helped by the fact that we were in a flight of 3 balls. By 11.30 am we were back at the clubhouse and as is customary in all golf courses in Japan, we had to stop for lunch first before we could continue to play the 2nd Nine. Pakdokter supposed this was also to help the caddy get some rest and have her lunch before going out for the 2nd Nine.
Lunch was a set meal - a generous helping of a cold soba and a bowl of rice topped with thinly sliced fried eggs, fish-flakes and pickled ginger as well as a bowl of salads and a dessert of a fruit jelly in syrup.
In the cold weather this was indeed a delicious lunch.
