Chiang Rai Day 1 : The Le Meridien Chiang Rai (111)

We spent the afternoon at the hotel, planning our itinerary for the 4-day stay in Chiang Rai. We booked the boat-cruise up Mae Kok to visit the tribal villages for Sunday. Pakdokter booked to play golf for Monday while pakdokter's partner decided to visit the White Temple and the Black Museum. On Tuesday, we booked to visit the Golden Triangle and make a short trip into Burma and Laos.
We planned to go to the Walking Street Market in downtown Chiang Rai later in the day and have dinner in town. So with some time to kill, pakdokter explored the hotel grounds and took pictures from various spots of this lovely resort.
