The final itinerary in the half-day visit to this Burmese border town was to the local market. This was a sprawlingly large market not unlike our Chow Kit or Petaling Street markets. Most of the stores sell goods from China - textiles, garments, bags, electronics and mobile phones and of course food vendors.
