Chiang Rai Day 1 : The Walking Street Market

We took the hotel-shuttle to downtown Chiang Rai at 6 pm. It was a short 10 minutes drive and from the drop-off point near the 'night market', we walked to the nearby 'Walking Street' market which is held on Saturday nights only. This is easily a 2 or 3 km long street in the city centre, closed on Saturday nights to allow street stalls to market all kinds of stuff to the city folks and tourists. Dance and musical performances were also put up aat several spots.

very sweet pineapple the size of a fist...
costume jewelleries
